2 years partime tuition teaching experience

 

I had started in teaching when I was having my Form 4. My neighbour was having headache with his son's result and he given me a chance to get involved in this stream. Affected by my mother who is an experience teacher, I started to teach and succeed to improve his son's result. I had also succeed to help my friend's sister scoring 8A's in her PMR. However, I stop my home tuition job after my STPM. Recently, I had joined a tuition center and I believe this will be the best carrier for me. I am not using the spoon feeding style in my teaching lesson. This is because the way will only misguiding student that they can wait for teacher's answer for whatever question that they don't know or slightly harder. I always train my student to take challenge, always think of the solution and never give up easily. In my way, not only academically being focus but mind thinking is important too. Undeniable, this kind of attitude can hardly trained up in short duration. Therefore, academic syllabus still the main focus of mine. After following my guide for three years, I believe my students will be a group with independent mindset and no longer blaiming that they are studying for their parents or they study because their parents want them to do so. I always let my students understand that whatever they learned is for their own good but not for others. I also encourage discussion and helping each other among students to improve their understanding on the subject and question.
