Born in Kuala Lumpur and bred in Penang during my early years in education before
moving to
South Australia to
pursue my studies.
I graduated from
the University of South Australia in 2010 with a Bachelors
Degree in Applied
Finance and have
since taught
Year 5’s for
over 5
years in
an international
school capacity
with experience
in curriculums
such as
Cambridge, English
National Curriculum
and International
Baccalaureate. This academic year, I will be specialising in teaching Humanities across Years 5 and 6.



I
believe education
is a
journey and
should be
made fun
to create lasting
learning impressions
in children.
In my
spare time
I enjoy travelling
and keeping
fit. Travelling abroad independently at a tender age has exposed my perception to the fact that in our
daily
routines, we know how to act and respond to people and our surroundings but being in a new place, with different people, who have a different culture and values and go about life differently has allowed me to become adaptable and flexible in situations and
various circumstances. This experience has allowed me to apply what I have learnt when teaching various groups of students over the years and as a result I have become an enthusiastic and committed educator with an innate ability to understand and motivate
children from various backgrounds. I

current reading
book is The
